Very clean for being listed as a two star motel. The rates were reasonable. The pool and whirlpool were in good condition and functioning properly.

7. AT CHECKOUT ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER. (Spoke to the Manager and I conveyed to her the dissatisfaction of our stay and the above issues. She minimized, was not concerned or apologized made excuses for the inexcusable!!
Hurricane Irma Evacuees... We booked and paid for a room for 3 days here to get away from Irma and received an email confirmation. We drove over 2 hours to get here waited on line and they told us we shouldn't have been able to book that many days so we could only stay one. Meaning they were going to kick us out the day of the hurricane. For whatever reason thankfully we were able to stay another night. There were people arguing and cursing underneath us and alot of suspicious characters.
1. LIVE COCKROACH IN DRAWER. (SEE pictures of dead cockroach I killed)
We love this place. Where else can you go in Chiefland where the pool is warm the people are warmer , and the rooms are cool. Thanks to the wonderful staff this is our hotel
I haven't even made it to the hotel yet and this hotel has already gotten on my bad side. Unlike every other Wyndham property this hotel has a "special cancellation" policy and will charge your card the morning of your reservation rather that allowing cancellations up to 6 pm in the day of. When I made the reservation I tried to get a weekly rate, only to be told that the person who knew what that rate would be would not be available until 11 pm.... Now I am stuck using these guys for at least the night, Will be the last time I even consider this hotel.
3. SHOWER DRAIN CLOSED WITH OLD WATER. (I had to stick my hand in nasty water to open drain)
6. BREAKFAST NO ATTENDANT PRESENT NOR AT FRONT COUNTER. (They were out of food, orange juice and no one available to ask for replenishment)
The hotel front desk clerk Justin very cordial and accommodating. AFTER THAT EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED ROOM #109 HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY ROOM!!!
4. VERY POOR WATER PRESSURE. (Slow as molasses water flow and bottom of tub black with the dirt from my feet because of nasty filthy carpet)
2. CARPET FILTHY. (When I removed my shoes and walked on room carpet my feet became black from the dirt on the carpet)
