The spring is beautiful. The facilities are nice. You can grab a BBQ lunch or bring your own. They rent canoes, kayaks, and pontoon boat and have a decent boat launch into the run.
There is a kiddie boardwalk and a designated swimming area at the spring.
We tent camped for a week here and had a blast. Springs are well kept and so is the park. Saw lots of deer daily.
There is a boardwalk the full length of spring run ending in a pier in the suawnee river. There were three manatees hanging out by the pier while I was there.
Very nice state park. $6 per vehicle for a day visit. Spring area is nicely done with a long elevated walkway going all the way to the Suwannee river.
We had a great camping experience. The sites are spacious and the bath facility is comfortable. We rented kayaks and had a fabulous time. There is wildlife abound.
We camped there for 2 nights in September 2017 in our 36 foot motor home. The 30 amp electric outlet had reverse polarity. We called it in and it was fixed very quickly. However, the next day we had other electrical problems. Again, they responded quickly and were once again friendly and competent. It was a pleasure staying here.
